MobZ (9263km):
5 hours ago Jimmy's beach, nsw. Patrik 120, Ezzy Lion 7.5, 38 vector weed. Board swap to JP SWL later, 38cm then later 44cm vector weed. Bit slippery. I'm not sure why I sent it down the stair case all the way to winda woppa when it was booting east wind earlier, but I did, and I made it back better for it, no harm done. What a mission, big chop getting back and overpowered. So much less wind up behind the spit.
I decided to go the SLW as the Patrik 120 was not powered at the spit end and that's the grass I wanted to mow all arvo. Gybe tack, gybe tack. Lots of practice. SLW hit the hyperspace gybe mode again today. It did once last week too. I'm not sure what happened, but it went like full-on planing on the tail during a gybe, not like a carving gybe, but full-power! while hanging off the back going around corner, very strange. Never felt anything like it. Hopefully Robo cam captured it. Very curious what is happening there.
Fair chance this big kit contributed to recent back muscle strains. So today I sent it in full commitment every time and very conscious to not make mistakes and I think the back has handled it. Three windsurfers, two wings and three kites later.
