 5-8kts few puffs 11kts 1st 2 hrs then 8 - 13kts  E Coal Point, NSW, AU

7.5m turbo- 125ltre Tabou Bullit - 38cms tectonics weedy

 sailed 2 - 5pm with a short beak

A day for the windfoilers. I went out too early at 2.40pm. Plodded around for hrs got going 2 x for top speed 18kts. Even the LT guy wasn't getting going.

It started to come in better and I had an ok run back in but I needed a rest and choccie..I'd been sailing 2 hrs without a break..

Looked better so went back out and it wasn't bad. I still had to work to get going but I could get in the straps .

One nice run down past the point. Buggered . Dropped 2 gybes. One I hooked in halfway around . The other usual Undecided I  flipped the sail after clew first sail,  stuffed around too long before I pulled it back on,  and fell in. I find scrambling on and uphauling exhausting these days.

The 40 mins of reasonable wind made it worthwhile. Laughing

A nice day on a pretty empty lake. zzz

Jimmy's beach, nsw. Patrik 120, Ezzy Lion 7.5, 40 carbon. Good to have a fly on the pointer fin. I went thinking I was lucky to get a wing session, but wind was ramping good so I went windsurfer instead.
A new / old guy here lately Terry Ward was seen gone way too far down the bay chasing Rocky's lost wing.
Or so I thought. Turns out Rocky had commandeered Terry's windsurfer to go chase his wing, no chance I think. Anyway Rocky thought so but yeah nah, he was gone, I could see that, so I rang MRPS. They found him and let him walk back.
We drove the car down towards Corrie to collect.
I decided to windsurf as there is lots of fish and apparently foils might look like a darting fish. Glad I did, it was a sweet session.
Oh and I met Mr's T. I've had dealings with Mr T before, he is big, but Mrs T is from another world.
At first I thought she was a submerged ship floated up off the bottom carrying weed and stuff, but then I saw the head. Massive! Huge turtle with so much growth on it, pretty much floating reef with a head. I was mid epic gybe on the outside right where you definitely wouldn't want to hit stuff, but I was well in control and she had moved nicely out of the way so no issue. Super blue water.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU. 7.8 and the Isonic again. 2 knots too little! It did get better the last half hour though, good enough to put a smile on my face. Great way to spend a Wednesday arvo out with Ian and Tibor - I could easily get used to it! Pretty happy with a 13 knot alpha too considering I didn’t break 20knots on the 2 second speed.

Turtle sounds amazing. We saw about a 40cm one off the launch at Coal while we were waiting for wind.
