GPS Team Challenge - Lake Macquarie (NSW, Australia)

Lignano Sabbiadoro, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, IT. The Virus 85ltr middy, 5.4 NP, hps 830. I brought everything but board and got board here. Probably should have just brought a scooter instead. Technically this was not a 'walk' of shame, as i commandeered a kids scooter for the laps through resort to collect wing bag where I left that and back etc. Not much wind anywhere yet. Bit of east wind in the morning just now but gotta go join the hoards of tourists and see Venice. Sooooo many people. And apparently proper holidays only start this weekend. Anyway I mustered up the courage to get through the field of beach umbrellas and try it. Technically I'm not allowed to sail at this part of the beach. But I can't get anywhere else so I just bolted with the kit into water straight past lifeguard. Usually at Jimmy's it's just dingoes to get past on the beach. I'm like a fish out of water. Top speed on the scooter 🛴
