Maui Venom S2 5.0 Fanatic Falcon 80x 56 Tectonics 30 (Thanks Phil McGain) Back at Kanaha. Sailed the smallest I had being my 5.0. The locals had 4.0 or smaller. Need Luke to put a bottom clew on the sail. Spent 1 1/2 hours sheeting out whilst dodging turtles, massive swell, crazy multi direction chop and clenching tightly on the run in down the chop to get a 2 s of 26 knots. And I was knackered after 90 min. We are not in Kansas Toto . I will never complain about Botany Bay chop again. Last day tomorrow. Hoping the St George Boys hit some high notes at Primbee. At least I was the only one wearing board shorts in July.

First sail back for awhile, haven't sail at primbee for 8months Not to much wind when went out but after a hour it came back in but it got very shallow and a few small sand bars out deep very hard to see, sailing from 300mm of water to 100mm at 35kts straight into sandbar was lucky not to break me or my gear, It was getting shallow and unsafe!! So decided go in and didn't do any bear aways was not worth the risk.

Up and down start, but rewarded for waiting when it came back on. Water level too low to send it. 5.8m 49w. Turned out to be a great afternoon sail. Saw a couple of team mates which looked like a romantic interlude out on the jetty. Luke and Dante were having late charge at the end of the day.
