Great to get out again after almost five months without a sail. Arrived to find very little wind and Ant's car in the car park. Watched a rain shower come through with a puff of wind and decided I could manage a 7m in that so I rigged for consistency rather than top speed in the hope that the wind would fill in. Not long after I finished rigging I was lucky to score about thirty minutes of reliable wind until a short lull followed by a decent puff for about 20 minutes and Ant appeared. After calling it quits and preparing to de-rig we were lucky to score another burst of wind in sunny conditions. I'm happy to have only dropped one gybe after soo long off the board. May not have been top speed but I'm stoked to finally get a decent winter sail in relatively warm, dry, sunny and consistent conditions for this time of year. Mistral112, reflex7.0, tws29
