3 hours ago Arrived at Nairns, to hardly any water.

Lots of glass, but now wind! After walking out to the water and back, wind kicked in 13kts to 17kts, so rigged the 60cm board, 6.6 koncept and 20cm deltoid.
By the time flex and I hit the water, wind had almost disapeared. Flex managed to beach start and started floating upwind
Watched Flex float for 1/4hr because I couldn't even beach start. There wasn't enough wind to support the sail. I couldn't step into the middle of the board holding the rig weight. eventually a slight zepher wafted along, and I managed to start drifting.
Very pleased to see all the weed but it wasn't as much fun drifting through it as silently flying.
I got tired fairly quick having to hold the sail up a lot of the time. I did manage to get into the harness briefly, but even that wasn't all that relaxing, wind wasn't steady enough.
I tried adjusting the mast track, initially it was too far back and that made grounding the fin a problem, moved it all the way forward, I could then get on the board without digging the fin in, but couldn't stop the board rounding up. Mast track in the middle was doable so that's where it stayed.
