Denham, Little Lagoon. Wind was up on yesterday, but with it came bigger chop, so didn't make as big a gain as would have expected. Experimented with differnt boards, sails and fins but in the end went back to the tried and proven combo of the Radix98/Turbo5.5/Sympseed 25. Also sailed in the bay in the morning so has been a big day.

For someone who has sailed only 5 times since March, and in less than 15 knots each time, today was a bit much.

The gear was right, the conditions were close to perfect, but my fitness and courage were no match.

While everyone else was waiting for a strong gust, I was waiting for a lull.

It gave me a good chance to catch up with a few people at least.

I know that with a bit more fitness I could have gone much faster, but I was just glad to get back to my start point unscathed.

It's all up from here, right?

Coodanup.

Didn't expect it to be quite that windy. Planned on a distance mission but rigged and sailed for a speed quest. mistral speed 47, Tribal delta 18, reflex 6.2. I struggled to get into a rythm gybing the smaller board often getting stuck on the bottom at the slow point but the approach and exit speeds of that board show it has some alpha potential.

Results from the GT31 because the GW60 batteries ran out at 160ks although the speeds looks a wee bit beter on thre GW60.

Happy to come away with a couple of PB's. Great to see a good turn out of Pinnas soo many fast sailors out and thanks Ronnie and Jim for taking time for some photos and drone action.

Coodanup, WA, AU

Nice sesh fanging around in the smooth at Coods.

Got there late, and it was nearing 5 when I launched.

It was windy, but I think it dropped from earlier in the day, cos I was fairly comfortable on the 6.3.

Windtech 57 + 18 Delta.

Went for one proper mile, and threaded the needle through the weedbergs for a fast second half Smile

Good to have Snickers for company, I got in the groove doing figure eights and enjoyed the non-stop fangin Wink

Fun sesh.

thats a very gutsy effort Anita, i realy did not think you would get going in those conditions

i should have started up around the toilet area,so that i did not have to go through all that chop with a small fin

Thanks fingers. The chop was OK, it was the wind that was too much. My 22 fangyfin held on well

Huge session Snickers, and a super set of numbers all round.

You said you were going for 200k,  and in that wind that is huge.

I want some if what you have.

Great backup from Pointman
