4002 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - NE 20-24 knots. Started off with the 7.5 V8 and JP 112 L + 21cm MUF Ultra fin, but only lasted one run beforeI realised the sail was too big. So changed to 6.5 V8 and manager it a lot better.
Had some sweet runs in the weeds and the Ice Rink and thought I did some nice speed. Used my new Xmas present today, a Camelbak water pack. Nice!
Sailed with Paul D, Paul C, Mick K, Greg K, Greg ?, Matty D, Frothie, Sue and one or two others. Thought I saw Milsy as well.....
A great session alround I think.
Cheers Marauders.

Took 92 Jp slalom out for last 1/2 hour but couldnt better my speeds. Still a sweet sesh. Good onya Dave (Frothie) with your PBs. Those beers in the driveway were the best, think ill just keep going. Love that spot, just so flat. Go Marauders! Hope this Southerly hits here early in the morning and Harrys will be on otherwise Canton should be good with the lake being so low.

After my trip south didn't quite go to plan, I ended up with a bonus chance to try out Sanctuary Point. Stoked. Freaky that you were there too Hamish! First day on an actual slalom board and cammed sail. The acceleration was amazing!
Awesome to meet the lovely Keef who spent ages fixing a fin for me - huge thanks for all your advice and help! And a lovely lady who stopped to help me reattach my rig to the board - thank you!! Amazing to watch Alex Halank sail. I should have gotten an autograph while I had the chance! No matter where you go, windsurfing people are so kind, generous and friendly. I am just so incredibly grateful to windsurf

4001 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Good NE 15-20 knots. Good crowd of Marauders and other locals including my friends Wayne Bailey and Paul Caska. Strained wrist prevented me from sailing well and for very long. JP Slalom ix 102l with Sailworks 7.1 NX race. Tried to sail the shallows with my JP 31 weedie but hit the weeds and got ripped out of the straps and over the handlebars, not a full catapault but close. 100 metres later it happened again, too shallow. Wrist gave up so I went in. Still fun. Good to see you back Johnny. Great PBs Wayne!
