Great day with the Mob, first run was with the iS 80l - Evo.6 - 6.4 at the Bank (NNE) great results around 33 knts. Then I changed to my new Speed board and clocked just under 35 knts - 34.80 knts. Very happy with this results first time on a speed board, complete different sailing.
I got a bit busy with the Kiters and decided to Finish for the day, had a few close calls..........low distance today.
1 st session - iS 80 L - 6.4 - Select 29 cm.
2nd session - Is Speed 49W - Evo6 - 6.4 & 5.8 with Bp 26.5 cm.
Cheers B

Nice wind, nice bank, kiters not nice. one of these days some kiter is going to get nailed by a 30knot windsurfer maybe then they will look where they are going. most (not all) seem to have no concept of other sailors.
oh well still had a good sail.

Lighter that yesterday & a bit gusty weed was rising to the surface making it smooth as the sun was out today I was told that the weed lets off a oil which causes the glassy patches how bizarre.

Fantastic day on the water with some of the mob and plenty of kites which made it really tough to find that safe line of water, saw some very close calls with kites and windsurfers.
Really happy with my slalom kit, worked a treat today, felling knacked after 3 days of sailing!

BP fin was awesome I didnt spin out, felt so comfortable today in the wello chop. I wanted to run 26 but felt there was to much chop.

JP Slalom VIII 96L, Select 33cm, EVO5 6.4m. Not the best for me today sorry. That water is way too rough out back in the middle of the bay for my liking. Even the bank wasn't real smooth (and the damn kiters in the way - one of them is going to be run over soon CAUSE THEY DON'T LOOK). Anyway great to have a quick session with some of the mob. Maybe I should have stuck around and followed you all over to Lota.....

3954 days ago 2 categories Rigged too small today with the 5.6 but very fatigued after 2 big sessions. Classic wello day with many, many nice runs down the bank. Went for 1 MN run on the JP down to Lotta which was no good. Called it a day after a long struggle back to Wello.

Well done team - too many names to mention but some fantastic results. Looks like I was not the only person having fun out there.

3954 days ago Wellington Point, QLD, AU, Falcon 104, Daytona 5.4 and MK II fin 29. I should have stayed at home with the airconditioner on. Battling to get a carpark on a Sunday is not a good way to cure a headache. And then the wind is too northerly, so you have to get out in the chop, before you can turn around and try to hit that little corner of flat water, where suddenly a kiter appears in front of you when you want to turn down from the bank. Twice today my fin was cutting through the sand and I had to dump. The latter time the mastclamp pulled to the side of the boom and I had to borrow an allen key from Dave to fix it. Thanks Dave. Give me Northeasterly Please, Please.
