FF79 and 6.6m and Delta 18.5cm. Underpowered as usual. Lake very deep and so really choppy. Result no flat water, spent most of my time going sideways. Should have used a normal weedie.
Only a couple of bareaways, the 2 sec peak ending in a spin out stack. Good crowd out for a week day (10+).

Well I got well upwind and only spun out a few times..Stayed more upright over the board , was careful to try not to oversheet and luff the sail overpowered going to windward..Worked well when I was fresh but as I wore out hanging out more and less energy for finess..Only lasted c 1hr as tiring - choppy + bit overpowered at the end. Hard to get any decent speed in the chop.
Got into the flat bits but first you had to get through the weed clumps which could almost stop you so then you had 50m to get back up to speed in the flatwater and the gusts weren't really getting in there. Ended up lower down which was a bit choppy but more consistent wind. Had it by then..zzzzzzzz.
Byron , Milsy , Frothie, Muzza ( broke mast first run) then Andrew. Mick and Bruce rigging as I left. Would have enjoyed it more with a 6m + 30cm decent weedie at the end.. Absolutely stuffed now..zzzz

Best not be a whinger, its winter & we ought be grateful for the crappy winds that we get. Arrived as some morning shiftyers coming in & the wind was dropping. WAS ok AT FIRST BUT DROPPING OFF TILL CAME IN BEFORE IT DISAPEARED.
Bloody caps lock!

Short after work session at Marmong. Really happy with the alpha as I was trying hard to keep knees really bent and it worked. Bit of a swim back in at the end when the wind died off, but happy to get out after being stuck in the office all week with the westerlies howling around the building.

3281 days ago Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 7.7 TR11, RS2 , 22cm delta carbon, then tr11 6.6 , RS2 , BP28.
Was so rough no flat water at all, was hard work harder than sailing in lake mac.
used the 22cm home made carbon delta and 7.7m first and could only get 33 was spin out city and felt like an achor.
put the 6.6 with bp 28 and straight away over 36 was under fined but at least no spin out.
Was great sailing with every one thats what I like about sailing there with friends.
6 days straight sailing at this time of year must be a new record. hope tomorow makes 7
