Hardie (35741km): Liptons with Pepe, got there measured 17 to 19kts, rigged for that then wind dropped
Elmo (31413km): JP SLW, NP RSR E4 9.5m Pepe weed 50cm Nice autumn sails after 3 weeks without sailing, waiting until most of the skyworks had gone past, sailed till wind dropped out went back in started derigging and the wind came in better than before.
Nice little session | ||||||||||||||||||
Decrepit (54506km): Novara unpowered boat ramp. Wind almost everywhere, but there was a fair bit of off in the mix, so went with the 65cm board 29cm 45deg weedy and the 6.6 koncept. Finaly had enough ummph and enough fin to test the cutouts, and I'm pleased with the result, the board trims on the tail much nicer. Had a couple of great runs in the lumpy goodness, (I know elmo, you wouldn't have called this particularly lumpy, but compared to what I've been sailing in for the last 6 months it was lumpy enough), I'm having to re-acquaint myself with this stuff now all the weed has left us. And a couple of floats back from Ward Pt. Started of with only a learner kiter and a lady who's getting back into it after a long break since the 80's. Then Elmo arrived and the wind dropped, (one of the floats back from Ward Pt). Went in for a chat, and wind came back, so had a few more runs with Elmo, then a PJ a visitor from SA came out and wind died again, so went in for a cuppa. Elmo bless his cotton socks derigged!!!!!!!! Wind came back very nicely, even enough to entice yoyo and fin out, got my best runs in this session, Thanks Elmo good sacrifice.
(Mu-) fin (15418km): Novara AU. Early morning I heard thunder, so wasnt in a hurry to get to the water, so missed out on the earlybird wind. But it did pick up and went out with the f2 SX-R 58, ka kon6.6 and 25cm 45weed and came off in one of the holes and put a hand through the sail as I was flipping it over for a water start,.. doh!!!! But it was good to gat out and get wet.

Shane121 (6794km): Albany, WA, AU harding rd jp 101l , np evo 5 7.0 , jp 31 . Wind had a few holes but still had great sail with morts and cliff
Morts (16066km): Lilacs, Albany, WA, AU Tabou 3s 96l, Loftsails Switchblade 6.8m, Maui Ultra Weed 28cm
Nice little easterly to take my new (for me) sail for a test run. Thanks Lao Shi I was very impressed with the Switchblade on it's first outing, although I still have a long way to go to get near maximum performance out of it.
Just the 3 (Shane, Cliff & I) of us out on the water today but you can tell the forecast must be alright for tomorrow as who should happen to appear just as we were unrigging but Stroppo. Looks like a few of the CST will flying around down this way tomorrow, much better than sailing alone!
Cheers
