Lyds (10267km):
1427 days ago 2 categories Belmont Bay (Slipways), NSW, AU Foil Evo, 5.8 Slowray - Probably worst foil ever, sail had no power, couldn't get into it, nice cruise though upwind.

NNot the best but a lot better than nothing. I have tried my 115+ fuselage with 0 stabilizer on a small 80 wide slalom board. It certainly got me going early. .so much so l did nothing else but calming it down. I still enjoyed it most of the time. Don't know how l got this low top speed but l don't care. I had a good flight whe6we are starving for a bit of foiling at all.

Stingray, Whisperer, 5.5 then 6.5
Started off nice and strong, but then backed off a little so I changed to 6.5m. Then it came back, should have stayed with the 5.5m
Greg, Tony, Lyds, Sue, a distant wally, a kite foiler, a few moths and a couple of lasers all enjoying the winter sun.

1427 days ago 2 categories 5-15kts SW few puffs 15-17kts Coal Point, NSW, AU messy chop at times 30-60cm
7m NCX- WT64- 36cm drake pointer
then 7.5m GT Turbo - WT64 - 36cm Drake
Rigged too small at first , perservered for a while but then risked it and rigged big. I was going to use the 39cm fin but I'd left it at home. As it turned out the 36 went ok.
Still patchy but probably the most consistent sail I've had . I rigged for the lulls and there were no really nasty gusts.
The big sail is hard work..
I'm starting to sort out the best stance etc . I seem to get upwind better keeping the rig forward and upright and standing well forward.. Some fun little spurts . Pretty messy at times but I'm starting to love the messy chop.. The board is so comfy and controllable it just eats it up..
Andrew , Tony , Greg and me.
It died a bit at the end but got pretty consistent but I was cold by then so called it a day.

1426 days ago Marmong Point, NSW, AU WSW 15 knts and a big turn out of foils on the water. i was greatly overpowered but in control holding staedy at my usual 13 knt when Bear flew past me doing 20+ and completed the 300 m ....sprint, gained control and didnt crash. ...that time. After only a couple of foil sessions he gets the gong for the day.
