Hardie (35820km): Good session, need to be more consistent to get my 5 x10 ranged from 35.6 to 32.8. Wrong wind angle for good alphas today. Overall pretty happy, well done to Elmo, and Slowboat was crackin 40's!!!!!
Decrepit (54652km): No Pbs today, but I'm happy with getting close. Nice to watch Chris Lockwood blast around, think he was going as fast upwind as I was down!!! And those gybes, now I understand how he gets 25kn alphas.
Elmo (31542km): Windtech Prolite 900, NP RS4 6.2m, Elmo Weed G10JP32 23cm & Finworks Pro 280. Took some time of work as the forecast looked sweet, It was very nice, Had Chris Dave and Steve down from Perth which drove the skill levels up. Although still feeling crook it was a good day, big thanks to Chris for encouraging and pushing when the wind swung, don't think I would have pushed as hard and definitely wouldn't have picked up the extra couple of knots. Was awesome to watch Chris sail, especially when he comes in at the end of a run which was around my max speed (37 knots) and pulls a shoulder high chop hop, way to much talent. Great day out |
