Distance would improve if I could gybe I reckon.  Hardies on a 110 and Loft 6.6 went down to a 91 but was tin fruited as the breeze stopped dead. Maybe could have done the 50k's but was lucky I was at shore, when it died, unlike a few who slogged it home.

Started at Dutchies and was down at Cott beach contemplating the walk of shame when the wind finally kicked in but still holey. Hour was not as good as hoped as I spent a fair bit of time trying to get back upwind. JPFSW 91 6.6 Koncept 29cm JPcarve. 15-20knts

Part two was at Peli pt which was rough as. Trying for a Nm at one point I was greeted by a head high breaking wave at the end of the point! Nice jump but the landing was not great. Nmile was not as good as hoped for either. JPFSW 91 6.6 Koncept 26cm FO 18-23knts

Thought I could at least do some distance but was buggered by just after 6 so obviously the two weeks off with the foot took their toll.

Hopefully the rest of you had a better day.

Thought it looked too light for river (5.8 is biggest sail) so went to ocean,  launched at watermans did all the hard work of sailing upwind to mettams, at end of first outward run on way back (1nm) heard loud bang, jybed heading in wondering what noise was - taking it very easy (still got 22k 10 sec) then other side of boom seperates. Head to nearest beach, over shallow reef. Walk of shame (downwind though) to car and then come back and get gear. Fall at mettams onto arm/gear in shallows - only hurts when laugh/take deep breath, move. Another GREAT day !!! (no really I enjoyed it !)

Hardies Run with Mineral!

Fun session, but fairly underpowered the whole time. Also had trouble trimming the rig with the Weed Fin.
