Pleasant session on Lake Burley Griffin this morning. Not a shark in sight. SmileWind about 15 knots, but somewhat variable (nothing unusual about that for Canberra). Had the lake entirely to myself, not even a police boat or canoeist to accompany me. Well, I guess it is a workday.

Finished sailing after about 90 minutes as my hands were getting numb - air temp. about 15 degrees. What a difference a week makes.

JP XCiteRide 130, Naish 7.3 Sprint and JP 44cm freeride fin (CNC-machined green one; smashed the std. black one into an oyster lease at Merimbula last November - bugger Yell)

Must be great to have a sail in Canberra with half decent winds and the temperature above the freezing point. In a few months time 15 degrees will seem a distant memory and as faraway as the moon.

No sharks to be seen? I thought you could see Parliament House from Lake Burley Griffin?

It looks like your team is getting a few more members now. Good oneSmile
