Last day of summer, and a bit of a NW (25 knots) came through. Was quite gusty for a while. I didn't know what sail to rig - ended up with the Naish with a few extra cms of downhaul and outhaul. Made the sail truly awful - gutless and twitchy! I wouldn't have believed how critical these dimensions are.

When the wind settled down to about 15 knots, adjusted the Naish to the recommended settings, and had some good runs. Ian and Sam also sailed, however both have GPS "issues" at the moment, so this data won't count as a Feb. team session.

Lake Burley Griffin is still affected by blue-green algae. The eastern end is off-limits, however where we were sailing (west basin), it's apparently OK. Weed is becoming a bugbear for us. There's a bit floating around in the lake; my fin seems to be a magnet for the stuff. I am thinking of getting a fin with a bit more rake.

JP XCiteRide 130, with Naish Sprint 7.3, and JP 44cm CNC freeride fin.
