Snides (28038km): a few of the team decided to try hardies for some hr/nm/ what ever action as the months points are still in the very average categorie. spent a couple of hrs lounging around listening to some of the crab boys dribble sh#t before deciding on hitting the water in a pretty up and down breeze....went for 1 'speed' style run after completing the hr.. the hr attempt was pretty bad, punctuated with several stops to clear weed from the pointer and several lulls as well. ca 50,cred 6.7,venom 30 think the hr would of been a lot better on the iso and a weedy.. anyone else go for an hr? anyone? bueller? | ||||||||||||||||||
Slowboat (49283km): that was a long way to go to be underpowered... I shoulda chucked in the 8.5m! 6.6m SP53 KA30SL. Lots of seaweed. Was keen for a 1 hour mission but after the first long run (~6km) barely planing and several weed clearing chop hops later, the wind seemed to drop further. Got one run in a squall but borrowed Matt's 6.2m on my SP53 after we swapped rigs to give him a go on the board. Was really uncomfy with my front foot pulling out. Post run diagnosis after moving the mast track forward was that I had the boom too high. Strange... |
