Top session at Melville. Sun, stinging rain, rainbows, ospreys and best of all wind!

Actually sailed through the end of one rainbow (maybe I should buy a lotto ticket). I think this is a PB ave for Melville and almost my best Swan river Nautical mile.

nmiletrack

Almost identical numbers to yesterday (same top speed exactly) but totally different sailing!!!

James was blasting round on a 7m (some good numbers to come I think) and Robbie had even bigger!!!

Koncept 5.8, JP84, 29 elmo weedy.

Excellent session at Melville on NP RSSIII 7.0 JP Slalom V 92 Vector 32. Set-up felt pretty good most of the time and wasn't tiring to sail.

Dawn raid at Dalkeith.  Starboard Acid 80, Ezzy 6.0, Select Wave 25.

First time I've gotten an hour in before work!  Yay!

Got up at 5am, was on the water at 6:30.  Wind was a lot smoother than usual for a front, and the air was nice and dry Cool  Don't know what is different about this weather system but it just seems smoother for some reason.

The path down to the water is getting more and more overgrown, I'd forgotten how much of a difference the longer boom length on my 6m makes.  Will have to bring some secateurs down next time Wink

Short sesh after work at Melville.  W 15 - 25K.

S-Type 93 + 6.6 Koncept + 32 Goldwing

Nice combo.  Fun little sesh.  Wind switched off 42 minutes in, so no hour.

Only did 3 bear-aways, so the 5x10 wasn't too flash.  Got my best peak sailing unhooked after I got spooked launching off the back of chop...could be onto something here, not being connected to the rig eliminates some of the fear of eating it at speed, but the bicep burn on an NM could be a bit much.

Funny looking alpha...I was rounding up after a bear-away before the gybe.  Looking at the track I rounded up way too much and should have kept more speed going into the turn.

Great set of numbers there James.  A 35 peak and a 30NM is hell fast in a Westerly on the Swan...respect.

Good distance too, you must be knackered Surprised

Ditto Mark...bloody quick mile.
