Hardies with Snides / Nic / Claude and some MMobbers and Pinnas.

Went for the hour first up on Manta 64 then tried the SXS but the tide was dangerously low - tossed it in after a couple of close calls and a grounding and over the bars!

2010 Koncept 6.4, Manta 64/34 Talon for the bulk of it and a couple of runs and crashes on F2 SXS/32 Talon.

Happy with the hour - Claude was/is backing up!

Went for a cruise at Hardies , short session , just decided to go for an hour or so , using a weedy was a big mistake causing the nose of the board to lift and front foot kept sliding out of the strap , most uncomfortable way to do an hour but could'nt be bothered changing fin or  adjusting the rig 1Hr already ticking.

ISO86 , 6.1CR , 33 Choco weed.

PP at about 11:00 for an hour - Manta 67, Venom 36 and Koncept 7.5.  Wind picked up to 20-22 knots and it got lumpy so headed to Melville.  CA50, Koncept 6.6 and Falcon 28 until the 6.6 blew out in the head.  Good day sailing - Chris was flying on the 44 with the 7.8.  A few other SRMers there.

hardies run nice steady sea breeze, git there about 11am i suppose after over an hour driving... rigged the 7.8 rss mkiii and jammed it onto the 101 insonic with the 36cm weedy.. was very shallow most places and heaps of elmo snot everywhere, was surprised to feel how much grief you get fromthat sh*t even with a 45deg fin! got creative and tried the 7.8 on with the CA44 and 23CLS but couldnt get upwind, couldnt be ars3d changing sails so went the 86 isonic and 30cm FO weedy, want ideal so went to the pie shop for some average pies. gave it 1/2 hr the finally changed down to a 6.7rss mkii on the 86 and this felt great, dont know why i didnt change earlier... did some runs across the bay with lao shi and was pretty worn out, wasnt the best idea to try finish up with a full hour, was cramping up in the gybes after the long runs and at times had to use the heel on the back fot during the gybe instead of the toe to stop from cramping... feet probably th weakest link at this stage will need to do some toe curls or something... happy with the 1hr pb will need to do it earlier in the day with some down wind action if im gonna get anywhere near to jespers 26! almost a distnce PB too...

Melville SP40 7.8m CL24Asy. Gusty day and tide was suicidally low. There was still a lot of chop around despite the tide due to the large number of boats making a washing machine on the river. Normal summer saturday traffic. A few huge offs were seen today thanks to the exposed limps in places. Pretty stoked to get this combo fired up. It has more to go I think. Good to see a whole bunch of guys cranking around today. Thanks to Pete M for finding my GPS after yet another aquapack bit the dust and fell off my arm. No more of them.

Had to head out on the river on a boat for a cousin's bucks day. Leave at 11 from Freo at the wind's already blowing hard - and here i am stuck on a boat, thinking what fun the team must be having at Hardie.

Anyway, manage to convince the skipper after the BBQ to drop me off at JoJos (watching everyone blsting around) and get the wife to pick me up and I'm on the water by 5....

PP is a mess with chop and white water galore- it looked ugly on the boat and it's no better sailing in it. no chance for a distance or hour attempt today so just focused on going as fast as possible in the conditions which wasn't always easy. got airborne a few times. Still trying to find the sweet spot with this sail combo and new boom set up, so disappointed with end numbers.

sensational effort by the rest of the team. Seems like Hardies was the go today.

rigged CR 6.5 (should have gone the 5.9), I 86, LE 32 then Vector 30.

nice effort team. Was a bit late for me to do the crab muncher trip so I stayed local. Looks like the plan worked with some nice catchup action in all cats. Good effort today stringer.
