Quick session at Goolwa lake with the family in tow.  Gee I hate weed fins, or just need more time on them.

Good to see you got out Kimba.  Always good to get wet when on a family holiday.  How is goolwa with the weed situation?  Spending a week down there soon and was wondering if it's worth taking the gear - no weed fin.  Did you get a chance to suss out Murray mouth?

Hi Carl, there are clumps of weed growing here and there but depending on the directon you could stick to the old channels and use upright fins.  Didn't get a chance to suss the mouth but I know the drege is gone, just watch out for the "new" sandbars.  Dave should be able to fill you in on the mouth situation.  You going out saturday? If so boggy or the mouth?

Not heading out on the weekend - too hot.  Might try and get out after work early next week when the change hits.  We will have to suss out the mouth for when boggy is no longerCry.  I am hoping Chris D and / or Dave can fill us in where and where not to sail at the mouth.  What's the deal with the HMR S66 - are you waiting for a new board?

Hi Carl, I am going out Saturday arvo and may consider the mouth if nobody is going to Boggy.

I have refurbished the HMR S66 and will use it with 7.8.  It is just so comfy and a pleasure to sail.

My new JP VI 59 is due in a few days for use on solid days.

Cool mate.  Nobody will sail boggy on saturday - everyone is away at the moment.  Will have to check out the new JPCool.  Let us know how you go at the mouth....
