A good 1 and bit hour session at Elwood and good fun with the boys (Jerry, Evan and JAK, Bondy following up later). I have figured out the best down wind path at Elwood now. The swell out the back was a bit bigger today than normal, I had few tail walks in 1m+ swell and I even brought up a little chuck. Sealed

Jerry and Evan should bring up the Alphas today and JAK some good top speed. George should have been there. Need to keep our top 5 spot this month.

Great afternoon at Elwood with a 1/3 of the team. Jerry, Steve, JAK and Bondy. Nothing spectacular to post but come out unscathed and no damage to gear. Bonus.

Same as always..... Futura101 with 38cm C3 Venom & 6.5m Ezzy Freeride.

Great afternoon sessions in Elwood with some of the team Evan, Jerry, Stephen and Bondy. First started to rig the beast (V8) but it picked up quite a bit and I decided to settle with the 6.2 instead, given that Jerry was on his favourite Alpha 5.8. Kind of nailed two gybes in the end which reflects in the Alpha (for my standard anyway). I know what Steve means, I had my top speed on a  similar course close to shore, just chickened out earlier going up wind. Well next time, I'm still getting used to the spot.

Another Elwood blast this arvo, moved the  front staps on the Jp inboard today and it made a huge difference in the bay, it felt much more comfy and easier to contol off the chop. I think whats holding it back in speed is my sail choice but I can live with that. Had a few good runs with Evan and Juergen at times untill my boom decided to explode Frown

Hey Steve, congrats on the speed (and JMan the Alpha man didn't disappoint either).

Steve lets see tomorrow at work where you had the sweet spot, mine was just before going upwind. Will hang on to it next time for longer. Looks you had about 100ms more downwind run. Great to have the PBs with 1hrs...we are in 3rd spot still.

Some times I head right down to Point Ormond, but today i had the smaller fin and was a bit under done for upwind work. The best spot is about in the middle of the no boating pole and the yellow bouy in front of the life saving club.

(Very) low tide at 11:39am, so that should go in our favour too. Stephen, if you don't want to take your Adventra, we can go together. in my car.
