Craig Mann (896km): A quick session at Pt Walter KA 6.6 Tabou 49 Falcon 26. I left just as the breeze seemed to kick in nicely. Bugger
Recycle (17196km): melville with run to pw the big gust always seemed to be on the pinch back upwind! sonic w52 rsr6.7( a hand full at times)custom 23 weedy
Slowboat (49283km): Gusty day on the river. A few powered up times on 7m going upwind, and a few seconds of powered up time going downwind. It was one of those days. Good fun though.
Chris Adamson (14466km): Headed to Mandurah with the idea of doing an hour, but it ended up being a pretty solid session all round, which was a nice suprise. Nice to see 40 on the dial again, and for the first time in Mandurah. Headed out out initially on the Manta 59, North Warp 7.0 and Talon 34, and the first half of the hour was mid 26s but the breeze picked up from 18ish to 25ish and I became quite a bit overpowered which slowed me down a bit, pulling the average back under 26. After that I changed to the 6.3 on the 49 and headed upwind to where the kiters normally go and it was pretty nice as the breeze must have been nudging 30. The was plenty of breeze for heaps more speed but I had to go...not complaining though!
JC (5181km): A late but really fun sail at PP, after 3 weeks off the water. Used 5.9CR, IS 86 and Vector 32. The 86 was superb today in the PP chop and I was happy that the few tweaks i made to the CR seemed to improve its performance. One of my better sails of the year and had a blast, although I ran out of time too quickly ! Would have loved to have had time to get up to Wally world. Big thanks to Nebs for sorting out my IT issues. A great way to get back on the water before heading off to Toronto (forecast -2c, feels like -11c !) Great numbers from the rest of the team - well done lads.
Claude (28076km): Peli Pt, cruised up river to Pt Walter, weed still a pain here so back to Melville beach and more weed, great downwind run back to Peli , 25-30 knt seabreeze in March , lets hope for a few more. ISO 86, CR 5.9, 29 F1. |
