111 Isonic 2010 proto, 7.5 Koncept 09, 42 Talon [too big]! Fantastic! Melville!

Nice to get another go! This time I went for horsepower since the wind was a bit less than yesterday. 7.8EvoII, Nude54, CL28S. Pretty happy with the setup- seems to be going pretty nice in the chop. A bit frustrated about the top speed though- felt i was hitting a bit of a wall. Lao suggested perhaps the fin wasnt suited to Wednesdays. Strange but I've done 40 peaks the last 2 times I used that board and fin combo... I guess the wind wasnt as strong. Hmmm and the sail has done 43+... so that leaves... Innocent. Was able to hold onto the 7.8m in the strongest gusts. Fastest run was in a rain squall at the end which I shared with PD. Was a bit powered up going into the gybe at the end. Rest time... Good to see a heap of crew out there today.

smelville isonic 101 38 talon 7.0 rsr ii

got there about 4pm  guess OPENED THE Red board bag expecting to find the 86 isonic, but i had forgotten that i had been bejiggering around with stuff and my mise en place was a bit woggered as they say en francias. so i was stuck with the 101 (it was either that or the 94L wave board or 44 wide speed board) in theend the 101 wasnt too bad apart from the limited top end, evidenced by the low peak and ave. happy with the hr considereding there was a 5 min rest in the middle of it.

then i had to piss off to the WWA meeting which was a looong 2.5 hours, but felt kinda warm inside afterwards...could have been the beers...

glad captain sooky got wet finally, thanks the top secret yellow envelope.

Slowie, we spent so much time discussing windmeter placement this morning I thought you'd decided to have a rest day. Smile

Obviously not.
