isonic 44, overdrive 6.0,5.0, C3 venom 26. First time on new isonic 44, got beaten on the 6.0 so changed to 5.0. Got beaten again. Got to sort out why front is coming out. Let alone the big gusts and weed bombs..... board feels it wants to go fast.

SP50 6.0 Overdrive 26 Venom.

As the forecast NW didn't show up it was good that the Southerly did. Solid gusts ripping through, but typically on and off.

Had a few good spurts when I went deep into the shallows and weed. Ran out of puff, really needed the 7.0 at the end of the runs(and more water) but would have struggled to get it going at the start.. V choppy getting up to speed before the short flatter patch at the end.

Great team session guys,

Hey Al, that's pretty close on the top speeds....and I think Neils is in there also, in fact he may even be a poofteenth faster.

Christchurch Estuary Sausage, (or should I say Quakechurch) we had a good sized nerve jangling aftershock earlier in the day so were we all fired up for a session!!

Hey Mike I tried every GPS upload programme on the planet to try and find that .03, then Al beat us anyway. Nice one Al.

Thanks Bob.

Yep, 35.6 seemed to be it for last night.....

and now we've all got to get up to the lake and do 40....or 41......or maybe even now 42 with everybody having this new fangled gear.

And then there's Ohau...                  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEOYa-fjvp4

we'll save 45 kts for that spot!

PS....hey Dan, front foot coming out....

Your rear strap is well back, good for wheelies!

Try moving the front strap right back and the back one forward.

Feet close together have better sensitivity to trim angle, wide apart and you are either on one foot or the other.

Good for wave sailing but for speedy stuff you need to be more trim sensitive than that.

All the Sandy Pt fellas are onto it.

Cheers,

          Mike
