JP Speed 54cm, NP RSR 6.7m, Elmo Chopbuster weed 28cm.

Short session after work, the boys had been on a mission today which left very little for me to woryy aboutCool, so after seeing the boys laying around on the grass sunbaking and listening to them bleatingWink about 5.8's being to big in true muppet fashion I went and rigged the 6.7 to a chorus of "you're mad"Tongue out

Went out to see if I could get a reasonable Naughty Mile and make a few Gybes, took of from the shore nicely powered up, still managed to hit a few holes on the Naughty, came to the end of the run and laid down a screamer of a gybe, well it felt like it anyway (was only a 20).

On the way back found out why the boys thought I was a bit loonyTongue out.

Had to remember how to set up the board, wind was dropping so decided one more short run, well happy as I got my second best Alpha ever at the end of itCoolCool

Short but fun session.CoolCoolCool

The boys were on fire out there CoolCoolCool looking like they wee having lots of funCoolCoolCool

went for alphas and distance today, started with the old speed board and the 6.0 as the wind was a bit light, backed off again so I put the 6.0 on the thommen. Wind quickly picked back up. I hung onto this combo too long, expecting it to drop off again, just kept kgetting stronger, so put the 5.3 on the new board. That went much better.

But couldn't match Sam or Steve for distance.

Hardies...The word from Mike was "we need Distance and Alpha to get to 3rd place" so we did, we did better that expected Wink

Cool Great contribution from everyone, good team work, great companie!!! The morning was crap really, nothing and everything would work, with wind between 0-20+ knots, got stocked twice in the middle could done a waterstart for 10 mins! The Afternoon (actually when El Capo turned up) the wind become more consistant, but still with holes and gusts that felt like doors!!

Like everyone, I thought I had a Alpha PB.. I pulled out some really nice powered jybes.. surprisingly my best alphas was not in alphaland Surprised. No one had the balls to take the run today Innocent

Passed all day on the XFire 80 (really great all around board ) using the 5.8 until Joe arrived around oneish, then put the 5.0 on it as I was getting a bit tired, cruised the afternoon on it... then at the end of the day I took the 44 for few NMs. Very surprised by my 2s!

Great speed Mike and Steve, the conditions was very hard to sail and you guys did and looked good out there Wink. good training for all of us, great to catch up with everyone Cool, we had a blast Laughing

Great Stuff Sam, puts us in 1st place for the month, wonder if we can hold it for the next few days????? Guess it depends what the Pit crew can do.

That's interesting, the 1st time for ages I'm out of the contribution list we have a good chance of coming 1st.

The call went out áll hands on deck' and the team rose to the occasionCool

I had great fun today, sailing with friends around is a great motivator to try harder and try again.

Recycle sorry to hear of the demise of your 40kt W52.

Thanks Elmo for the assistance with the batten Decrepit for 2 lots of help with theGT31  , because the display functions differtently from the GT11 I was convinced it had locked up and I was going to give upEmbarassed.

Great numbers from everyone today in testing conditions well done.

I am with Hardie in the surprise over not getting alpha pb, for me it must have been proximity (or just my crap techniqueEmbarassed)
