Falcon speed, overdrive 6.7, C3 venom 30. Patchy 15 knts then picked to solid 15 to 20 knts so swapped to the isonic 44 and C3 venom 26,. Usual chop and hard to find some flat spots. Thats 5 days in a row now.

Lake Clearwater with Ross Monk (Dunedin) and Terry. Plenty of wind, rough water.

AA 255x53 board , 4.7 Maui TR3, C3 Venom 26 and Mykz 25cm fins.

No power today so used the 4.7 for the first decent session. Nice sail and lots lighter than the 5.1

Pretty slow today, not feeling very full of beans after yesterday's session.

Also, couldn't find Mr Crazy......come to think about it, I haven't seen him for a long while now, hope he makes some appearances this season......need him around to go fast!

First trip to Lake Clearwater for the summer.

CA 52   TR3 5.1   Venom 28   then Slingshot 21.

Water as warm as the harbour!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty rough so no fast speeds, had a big crash on first run on the slingshot going up wind in the chop.  Got it sorted just have to allow that it is so short. Fin feels great off the wind safe esp in the chop going across the wind pulled a few runs over 33 in the middle of the lake.

Looks like the fin carries speed through the lulls better than the venom, jybes Ok as well.

Looking foreward to some more time on this setup.  Roll on Show weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need a few decent alphas

so if anybody is feeling nimble and agile, get out there.

We may get enough wind this evening according to met service
