The wind was very square to the course today, not quite as fast as last weekend. Fun day out on the water!

Sans Souci, NSW, SSE 15-20knots(a tad more in the gusts probably)

JP 65 Slalom VI, JP Slalom III G10 36, NP RS6 7.2

A little bumpy out there today but great sail and awesome to see so many cockies out there today. Scored some handy advice from Mr Ting too, i.e. move my harness lines back, it helps with spin out! Quote of the day, "Slalom, same principles as formula"! Wish I'd spoken with him a little earlier in the session!Yell

Off & on sail, hard to get consistent runs. Wind went from SSW to SE but had some fun squirts, definitely needed more wind like the others said.

Probably should of been on 7.8 but the gusts were kind of fun. Lots of sailors out, nice spot to visit and sail

Johnny was on fire, huge airs and long distance! I was trying to reach 30knts 2sec but i just can't get there at the moment. Bared off down wind in the gust's and didn't pull out even when looking like in might loose it emmmm.

Hey Keef, that's a shame about Calala Bay - the photos looked so nice too. What was wrong with the spot?

At Sandringham, we rig up next to the St Georges Sailing club on Riverside Drive, just before the Taren Point Bridge.

The spot is best if there's a bit of west in the southerly and the tide's below 0.8m. Today was S - SSE but was still a lot of fun.

thanks mike ill try for monday , don't get me wrong callala is great,  being the northern end of jervis bay the swell is really lifting by the time it gets there, im going to get a couple of freeride sails because  sailing and jibeing the swells was awsome,   the flat section behind the reef just isnt long enough to get any speed, but all in all its a great spot just a bit frustrateing jibeing on the swell with a  locked in race sailFrown

Hi Choco, yeah I noticed that too. Same same but different. Most call it Sandringham, KA 72 Speed Reader uploads it as Sans Souci & Boss Man calls it St George Sailing Club,.....he's just different! I think it's cause, Sandringham is next to Sans Souci but other side of the water, where the speed strip actually is. The St George Sailing club, is where we launch from.

If you're in Sydney one day, we'll make sure you get there, don't worry!Laughing

Thanks Spencer congrats on the PB's, you have a great spot. Yesterday was very up and down especially later in the day, my fastest runs were on the small gear when the wind was more from the south and stronger. It was pretty hard to get peaks over 30 once the wind swung to the SE.
