Lake George, SA, AU  from the spit.. S to SW 5 to 25.

F2 missile, 5.8 KA Koncept, 24 choco weedie.

Yell bloody cold today only lasted a bit over 2 hours was 8 degrees when I came in. was ok at the start and blasted way upwind past the drift to do a cranking nm but as i got up there it rained heaps and then droped to nothing, ended up in the water for 15mins until it built back up again and just cruised back but by then I was shivering. crazy as was 26 degrees friday, will make sure I only use the 3/4 wettie from now on.

sat in the car with the heaters on and watched Kimba for a couple hours Frown he was having heaps of weed trouble and the wind was up and down like a yoyo. Tongue out but he was so keen to keep blasting.

used a lot more downhaul on the 5.8 today and it was better to lock down but was definetly not as fast off the wind.

Wink can't really complain as hae had 3 days in a row and the last 2 on the speed gear.

A good session at Boggy on a 18 to 23 knot south westerly with rain squalls up to 30 knots. Peak was at the end of the session at the start of a hugh squall on a run along the south bank. Used  the 6.8 Loft Switchblade on the ISonic94 with 31 cm SL7 fin.

Half way through the session moved the mast base back by 25mm and immediately increased speeds by over a knot Embarassed note position more carefully for the next time.

Sailed with Carl on the west half of lake - a few others also on the water.

2nd day in a row:-)  Same wind as yesterday.  Could have rigged 6.3 and rode the 70 litre but decided to ride the 102 and 7m blade - smoking combo.  Intro to winter fronts - BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fanatic falcon 102 / 7m loft blade and 33cm sl7.

Boggy lake - 15 - 23 knots with some 30 knots fronts.

Second day at Lake George sailing with Jamie.  Went out on the 7.8 and JP 49 early and it the wind dropped enough to make getting planing a draing on the forearms.  Changed to the 111 and had fun sailing in the middle and gybing on the edge of the weed.  Lots of weed removal stops.  Got a heap of footage and played around with some different angles.

Thanks for the room and sailing company Jamie.

It was a fun session alright, nice and windy in the choppy middle, a bit gusty at the ends in the weed.  Weedies are a must at the moment - the weed is probably 40cm below in the pic.

Smile thats not so smooth looks just normal to me, cool looking pic Kimba, Smile was good to have someone to sail with,

Yeh I have been saying for a while you do need a weedy if you want to sail on the real flat stuff,

when you coming down again Chris D..............make sure you have plenty of fuel this time.

I will be at the van all Easter but will sail at robe if its good there as well.
