| Slowboat (51842km): Safety Bay, WA, AU Decided on yet another mission down there since it looked like the best spot on the forecast. Got there a bit after 3 and decided on the 6.2m. Wind built as prediced and gradually swung as predicted. Used the 42cm board with the KA 21.5 asy. The combo was smoking condidering how rough it was. I had a crazy burst of accelleration into a breaking wave for a 42.5 on the dial. Good fun. A front line came over and delivered a mad burst of wind but I couldnt do anything with it. Was way too overpowered on the 6.2m to go downwind and guessing by the spray it was probably over 40kts at times. The wind backed off and swung west after that. Kept sailing with Darryl till after sunset. The tide was getting lower and the water heaps flatter, but the wind had also backed right off. Still enough for some of my fastest runs of the day. Decided to call it quits after a 41 into a wave I didnt see until I was airborne. Last run ended with a 40. Stoked. Glad I did the drive. Stoked to get another 40kt 5x10 in WA. Day 6 in a row...

| Chris Adamson (14466km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Wow...long time no sail! Pleasant little Wednesday afternoon cruise in fairly consistent (for winter) 18 - 22 knots and some rain. 20 odd windsurfers and no kites, which I thought was quite impressive. Manta 49, Warp 6.3, KA23. TUESDAY TUESDAY TUESDAY TUESDAY TUESDAY! It felt like a Wednesday - it was a very "Wednesday" kind of Tuesday. A Wednesday afternoon cruise on a Tuesday - I don't see what's wrong with that. | ||||||||||||||||||
