Green Park huts. NE up and down but got a good burst just before noon.

Wunderground meter at Gebbies showed 27kts gusting 35 at same time. Wind felt about that strong on my best run.

Plenty of chop but the latest board mod works great and board is fun in the chop now.

Wind  didn't last and backed away. Also the water was getting blown away rapidly, exposing dodgy stuff.

isonic 44, overdrive 6.0, C3 venom 26, greenpark huts. More wind than yesterday but a different angle causing a ugly chop....might be time for a weightbelt

Weight jacket, Good idea Dan.

I think Terry said that Dale Muller still has a couple left.

Hey Dan,

I see GPSSS put you down as a Sept 10th session. You have to go in to your sessions and edit (flag on right side of page) your session date.

Mickey mouse but their system runs on UTC for time and not local time.

Means that if our clock starts running around noon we get the day before date, cos noon NZ is 2400 UTC or 2300 UTC when day light saving. Sunday we started at 11.24am and got 11.24pm day befpre as GPSSS time.

I've been on to GPSSS several times to fix this but no action....pain in the ass. I'm onto them again today about it.

And they wonder that so many southern hemisphere types use only GPSTC

Has a big effect at the end of month. Last year we ran one session 1st of the month, good session but on GPSSS got last day of previous month...not so good result.
