Really pleased about todays session, was underpowered all the time but it was a good practice with the smaller simmer 6.3 scr. Two mile runs both very close to my PB, the one I lost the harness lines over the chop coming out of the channel. I think if I could have kept it locked down through that 10m or so I would have a 27knot nmi.

Good gybes were too wide for alphas though.

A quick lunchtime session. Disappointing speeds, forecast looked good for lunchtime on the bbc rather than getting up early.

First time with this 6.7 on the 84 litre board. Sunny.

I was on the water for over an hour with the matrix, then took my time derigging, had a coffee, waited around. It was clear he wasnt coming off....I see he stayed for a very long time

Griff 30 is good for those winds and that direction mate! I was well underpowered on my 6.3 with my mistral, had to either rig bigger or put on a bigger board.....I chose the easy and lazy option.

Bloody good effort Pete! That has shot us up the rankings!

Managed to get El Reg out at last light had heard that we needed a back up hour so gave him orders to get a Nm and an hour in what seemed like a dying wind compared to earlier and dying light. What with The Matrix putting an impressive distance with no back up we needed something to save the day. Only problem is this was on an 8.4 with 120ish board so fair play and don't leave it so late next time when we could only see a shadow on the water. amazing really someone tried. lets hope Ian has some distance?

I know the hour and mile have given us (or rather deducted) another 8 points......but every bloody session this week I have got a category medal thing only for it to be taken away the next day/later the same day.......Frown Thought I had it with the mile today.

Good effort for going out last minute and last light Kev.

Note to self.....must get better at windsurfing

Brilliant team effort...that's put a few scores on the doors.
