Pelican Point, WA, *B161/121, Tush7.8

Most of the time on the 121 a little under-cooked but a great afternoon nonetheless. Raygun and Snides were out and about and Somepunk trying out some new toys.

Great sail with John Norton, about 15 knots of wind - I seem to get stuck on 29 knots.

Lancelin, WA, AU

First sea breeze for me, good "15-20", used 5.8 Koncept and Sonic 95

Just sailed in the bay but had to stop when I was too tired to control the sail properly.

A pleasant sail on a dying breeze which left me tacking upwind in about 5 knots to get home. GPS switched itself off half way back.

Bugger, I thought of coming up Jeff, but got tangled with sorting out daughters jet ski's. Got a new floater to try as well, but down here it was all fluffy and want keen to travel for a crap sail.

was a great day on the ocean on the 49er, shame i didn't take the gps we had some insane downwinds as it was really flat out there yesterday even right out at the shipping chanel

my knee held together too after hurting it a tad last week

but i had my spinaker out drying on the lawn this morning and i thought it was good opportunity to put it into perspective of what me and my 75 kg mate sail around with in up to 25 knots

this is just our spinaker with my 5.0m koncept sitting on top

as you can imagine this + mainsail and jib can be a bit of a handfull in 25 knots Tongue out

pretty good fun though

for those of you who like the feeling of being overpowered you have felt nothing untill you have been on a 49er in a fresh seabreeze off freo Laughing

great to hear a few other people got out i'm keen to start doing some ocean training with you jj and john in a couple of weeks

In retrospect, maybe the GPS didn't switch off, I may have been going too slowly to exceed the minimum speed!
