Mixed bag of weather at the pit today started off se for some SHQ slalom then droped back for some RS 1 fun team racing and then bang the wind swung sw and the strip was on for some fun speed sailing.

4772 days ago 1 categories  Sandy Point, Vic, AU, Surprisingly good sessions in the early and late arvo with Jman, Simon KGB and George, forecast wasn't looking good. At lunch time wind went from nothing to southerly at reasonable strength first. Kept clear of the racing action further up the inlet and went with the Rocket upwind to join some others at the the speed strip sailing in the opposite direction, some good runs there. Tide rushed in and wind died down so packed up and moved the car. Some fun racing later organised by SHQ, then the wind came back nicely. Borrowed an RS:One and sailed it until too strong, then changed to smaller board and sail to make the most off the SW. Good day all up. Best run was with the JP XciteRide.
