Round 1 Slalom Racing - what a great day!!  Well done for organising it all Kaleb, you did a great job.  We sailed the maximum of six races and had about 18 entrants I think.

Sailed iSonic 107, Reflex 7.0 and C3 Sting II 42cm.  Great to see so many keen sailors at the start line.  Well done Kaleb on winning nearly every race!!  Well done Izaak, you were hooting!!

What a great a day.  Special mention should go to so many sailors for, but Anthony Huoston and Kazza seemed to stand-out.  Also Will Short who didn't manage to sail every race, but was flying!!

Starboard Futura 111, KA Koncept 6.6 and Venom 40

Sailed the first couple of races, which was good exerpience. Should have sailed the last four but didnt think the wind was going to come in that good, bummer! Didnt really sail much for the whole day.

Did'nt get it together in the first two races. Then i lent my gear to Izaak (since he has no 7.0m) and then the wind picked up perfect.

What a great day, I'm addicted too. Can't believe I was holding onto a 6.0 all that time. Bugga I had a blonde moment in the first race and thought everyone and given up and was just free sailing, there where people sailing everywhere. Big learning curve just keep racing don't listen to the hair!!

Brillant start to the slalom series, just a bummer the wind didnt play ball in the first two races. Dad lent me his kit for the last four races and i was flying (Thanks Dad), just could'nt quite catch that bugger on a JP BOARD. Thanks for hosting a great weekend Kaleb and the others on getting heaps of learners out saturday and over 30+ sailors out. The kit felt awesome in the solid 20knts to bullets of 25 at times, rock solid. Longest slalom race racing i have done on one tack being 2km.

Changed wetsuits after the first 2 races and was too lazy to put the GPS back on. Actually I didnt think the wind was going to come back in.
