The Matrix (20956km): met up early for an hour challenge but the wind didnt play ball, tried to take some video later but camera didnt play ball, oh well maybe next time.
Goostaff (2301km): Excellent day, and a good variety of sailing with plenty of chop, rolling swell, plenty of ramps for jumping and some decent blasting on the strip with a decent square and gusty wind. Looks similar tomorrow so should be out again. Well done mum for sailing today, fantastic skill and commitment during the windiest part of the day. This winter break has been excellent so far we've had a good variety of conditions in Cornwall. So much better than getting skunked at West kirby a few weeks ago in those joke conditions, don't think I'm gonna bother going there for a long time  | ||||||||||||||||||
Swagger (5821km): Started of quite under powered but wind filled and swang making it difficult for me for speed but had a great sail until the squall hit hmmm 22 knots to 43 in maybe 10 minutes so the wall said! to be honest about 30 seconds caught me out about 800m of the beach and was hanging on to a bouy for a while getting very cold and thinking is this the end? But wind dropped a little and managed to get back into safety felt like sailing with a sail from the 80's getting back. Great to see the new kid on the block going well great stuff today Tom think you need to sign up will have a word with your uncle Camel later. Falcon 90 7m Simmer SCR And Black Project 35 Speed very nice fin loads of control but don't think it lets go as much as the select S11 Slam 35 more time with a better angle will see? Also on a last note thanks to my sponser The Matrix............
RedSurfBus (12504km): You need to try the Black Project type R 35cm Swagger..... ;-) Big board as when I went out the wind had dropped. Was caught out on the way to castle cove in the squall, made it back a bit to the fleet channel as it was flowing out and fell in, took a while to get back to shore. See you all tomorrow
Jim Crossley (5677km): A good fun session with very flat water. Was good to get on the 51 falcon as I haven't used it many times. The wind wasn't very strong so gave a nice chilled time. |
