Kyeemagh, NSW, AU 20knts

JPXcite110 - 6.6LoftO2 - Stock  34fin.

It was blowing 25knts when I got down at 11am, so I rigged my 6.6. I had two or three really nice runs when I noticed my GPS wasn't turned on. I switched it on and the wind switched off.  I spent the next 3hrs underpowered except for the occasional gusts.

Still nice to be on the water - two days in a row is a rarity for me - so I'm not complaining

Nice to catch up with Tim who I hadn’t seen since last summer.

Northern Carpark Kyeemah - lovely day at the day with the family. The boss had a super sail as did I. Up and down wind but lovely to be out and riding the old SS 118 - so comfy and easy then changed to the SS 100 right on the wind jump, super effort that!

JP SS 118/J SS 100, NP V6 6.5

Great to see Dave Man out and have a yarn. AUS 127 and Boss Man were smokin. Pudsey Boy smooth as always! Peter doing well on the big unit in those conditions.

Kyeemagh, NSW, AU

What a massive contrast to yesterday. I still rigged too small to start with but I knew the wind would come in eventually, which it did thankfully. I slogged around for the first hour never properly lit but after a little while things started getting better and the gusty conditions turned a lot steadier. Happy to get the peak I did, there were some nice runs down the runway to be had if you got the right gust.

Always good to see so many Cockies out as well as another mysterious QLD blow in keeping Bossman honest. Even Mr Ting made a cameo appearance for the second day in a row!

We missed you out there Mike!!!!!!!

Cheeky little sail at Kyeemagh, NSW, AU just before picking up a VIP at the airport!

Sailed on my AB+ 95L, 39cm Select fin and comparatively tiny 5.5m Maui TR4. Others all seemed to be on 7's for speed or 6's for control.

Gusty, but still broke 30kts, so happy with that.

And I NAILED some lay-down gybes. Boom touched the water at least once! Sweeeeeeeeet.

Another great day at Botany.

Had a nice bumpy run down the runway on the big gear for a Nm, but needed another 100m to make up for lack of wind at start.

Good to see all the gang out.

Leo - top stuff

Kyeemagh  NE 15-20 knots

JP Slalom Pro 68 VIII  North Warp F2012 7.8  Tectonics Talon 38

Very shifty Noreaster, Chris and I were just about to leave after an hour when the wind kicked in. Still very shifty. I couldnt get any more speed out of this setup, too much drag, so we called it a day.

Jimmy's Beach, NSW, AU

isonic 101 jp36 weedy, 6.6 maui tr3

Had a few good sessions at Jimmys this week as we camped there the week. Started the day with an hr on the water on the 131 isonic and 8 mtr pursuit and it had a bit more east so much easier to launch and you could cut accross to Anna Bay, so nice long runs but just a little bumpy.

Then onto the arvo sess. NE, blowing consistant and sweet. Had to walk halfway up the beach and then paddle 200 mtres out because my board sinks (shark bait) but when in the wind its great fun. That NE just jumps over the sand dune and comes down with force, and its pretty smooth. I LIKE IT.

Anyway no impressive speeds, I felt like i was fitting my weed fin the whole time (i need a smaller one) and with an impressive dismount a broken carbon boom. But still smiling.

For those who havnt done Jimmys in a decent NE i think its worth the trip.

Had a blast today on holidays down at Jervis Bay. The lake was pretty weedy. I was having lots of fun being overpowered on the isonic. Good fun until I broke a batten.

Thanks Milsy, the wife and kids come back from Fiji tomorrow so thats gunna suck!!! I'm still getting some good speeds but could do with some flat water to see what can be done by an unfit geriatric. The lake blows chunks but at is close by but so inconsistent. Love to Lydia
