Melville Beach, WA, AU

F2 SX M then F2 SX S ,7.5 O.D.,40cm Deb SL2,34cm GW

Had a great sail, probably the best in weeks, great to meet Birdman and Tweety bird, also had a catch up with Anita and Ricey. Smile

Day was only soured by my wife dropping down the river and telling me my eldest put the Nintendo WII remote through the tv,the only consolation is tv's have dropped in price,I guess I will be shopping this week! Yell

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Lovely family day with my wife and dog teaching my nephew on the formula board with a 5m wave sail.

Then a quick blast as the wind picked up at about 4.

Isonic 86, Code Red 6.1, Black Project S 26

Melville Waters... Peli Pt launch. Got bored of back and forwards, sailed to Lucky Bay - the wind sux there, back to Peli Pt. Top speed was actually on the flatter stuff at Lucky Bay.

Struggling with the top end since losing 10 kgSurprised My old Carbon Art is just too big... Lucky I have a couple more on the wayLaughing

Loft Blade 6.8, Carbon Art SP60, then Tabou Mantra 59.

Good to see Macka Packa... A few more runs together would have been funWink

Pelican Point, WA, XF102 +Nitro 34, Speedweed 30 / Sonic 90 + Goldwing 32, Reflex 6.2

Solid seabreeze at Peli. Pugsie was out but I lost him after first board change. Troutty was out - thanks for the new sail. Ray gun was flying - hope the hand is ok mate.

Sail felt great. Nitro gave a little too much lift for the 102, so swapped to the small board. I love the Sonic in the flat but it's not as comfy as the XFire in the chop so tried the speed weed on the XFire which was the best setup. A few good runs through the shallows, the chop was horrendous heading back up wind on starboard at the end of the run. At one stage was heading for Melville on the 90 but started feeling a bit fatigued so gave that away.

Three days in a row. Schweeet.

Great Dutchies session. Rider x-onshore, combat 5.4

Lots of gybes and tacks and jumps, so much more physical than river sailing.

Great to see Marcel out and Dan E was hooning around on his wave kit.

Did see Chris A out the back early on too.

I keep it simple... bend the knees, bend the knees, bend the knees..

Somwehere in there there is bear off, let rig decide when it wants to turn, and exit down wind...

Only hit a few gybes without dropping the plane today... Oh wellUndecided

Smile Hey Mineral it's been a year since you where here sailing with me over here.

Wink you should be here now as the lake is as flat as I have ever seen it, would make your gybe training super easy.
