JJ (25827km): Point Walter, WA, AU Brilliant early session at WW East with Sean and later Lao. Pretty steady (for an easterly) 20 - 25 knots. Sailed with Sean down to the sandbar to try there but the best speeds in the end were right in front of the car park at WW East. Lao was going pretty quick when I left

scarrgo (8964km): Point Walter, WA, AU made sure i got there nice and early suprised not to find lao there when i arrived at 6.15 a whole hour after sun rise jj showed up almost at the same time and he was first on the water he put the pressure on right away and was pulling numbers i just couldn't match sailed over to peli for a bit and it was pretty good there potential for alot better alpha just didn't reach proximity NM run back started good but ran out of wind in the middle 6.2 reflex, 57 mistral slalom, 30 jp sl, 26 jp sp tried the little speed fin today it worked ok but i think the 30 in that stuff was probably quicker great to have a good sail with lao and jj in a bit of wind
lao shi (41082km): Great Easterly outing at WW on Lurch. When I got there JJ was smoking across the bar and had a 34.93 display. By the time I got on the water all I could get were mid 32s. Luckily for me I got one patch of wind to get a 35.34 display! Ya got me on the 5x10 though, well done! Came in and put 5kg weight in the jacket but didn't better the speed. Physical work sailing with lead! Went for one mile from the car park deep in to Freshy Bay but ran out of puff in the second half. Not bad considering. Went down to the spit with Scarrgo and the water was sweet for alphas but just not enough wind for a really good one. Lurch really handled the choppy WW conditions well even with only a 23 fin and I am strating to gybe it better. Amazing how you can go from hating a board to loving it with just a few tweaks! Claude and Jesper were doing some high speed racing and were very evenly matched. Loft Racing Blade 6.3, KA23, Lorch DivS 83
Chris Porter (11725km): Lake George, SA Just happened to be passing through during a decent blow...well sort of.... my lovely wife made sure we got ahead of our schedule by a day so I could enjoy a sail. Pulled in fairly late and had limited time due to Arie's bed-time. Also went in entirely the wrong direction looking for a bush track into Cockie's Point....who would have thought you actually just drive across the lake to get there.... Thanks to Richard of SA Speed Demons for the help getting there. Amazing spot...Great Session! dead flat for miles. Apparently it gets flatter with a different wind direction. Felt a little bit out of condition and probably didn't make the most of the conditions. Hoping to get another session in tomorrow morning before we head on and will try to capitalise on the Nm and hour potential. I feel like my fin might be holding me back a bit. Ran into Ado of the SRM who had come upon some bad luck with a broken mast and boom. Also got to meet Daffy of the Pt Crew and Choco. CA SP47; F8 Ram 5.4; FO Weed 260
