Sailed with absolutely no confidence today which was a bit dissapointing as there were some good speed to be had out there today methunks.
Started out today with the 7.8 and the 40cm pointer first run realised that in technical terms the was a shitload of big bits of weed floating around everywhere and that the pointer was a bit scarey trying to dodge them, the 7.8 was a bit of a hand full as well as my front foot kept trying to escape the strap which made it interesting bouncing over the chop.
Came in and changed down to the 7.0 and the weedy, went back out again, F'ken front foot is even looser, did a gybe fell of the back and ran my shin straight down the back of the fin leaving a nice cut aver 2" long on my shin, sailed back adjusted my strap went again attempted a naughty but the foot kept trying to escape so flagged it, headed back to base with my tail between my legs and packed up.
Not everyone had a soft cock today I thunks the boys may have done alright out there
Great to see Robin back out on the water and Dot ripping around

Almost got it right today wind arrived a little bit later than the tide so it got very bumpy very quickly, almost had a massive stack when my fin let got somewhere over 35 so after watching Sammy do the same we called it, wind picked up and was gusting to 40 as we were packing up
Big thanks to Sammy for showing me the spot and dragging my trailer out to it as my poor old 2 wheel drive sports ute will no go that far off road

4701 days ago missread them wind, rigged the 6.0 on the 53 with the 25.5. should have started with the 48cm board. Tried to help Hardie with alphas, but gear too big, by the time I'd changed down to the 5.3, 48 and 21 and got back to alpha land it was getting a bit too choppy to pull off good alphas, so I concentrated on speed

got out at 4.30 ish following the slow one to the water, geez it's been a year or so since sailing there, things have chaneged a bit with all the sandbars bars shifting around a bit.decided to take the small board out for a change a had some nice runs over the beaver, shame it was a bit deep and choppy.will need to sail it a few times to get the best out of this spot, still best 2 sec and 10 sec for this season
7.0 rss,62 jp ss ,34 lessacher weed-which caught a lot of bloody weed!/30 leading edge weed-which was sweeter
