Yeehaaaar! Finally a 40 and i didnt have to put on a wetty to get it! After last year i thought that a trip to sandy or a weedy lake would be needed to get over the line.
And very happy with the alpha as it was really messy in the chop trying to go square to line up the flat jibing spot.
Had heeps of fun sailing with the other mobbers and tring to pip Cam in the speed stakes!
Used 2012 Overdrive 6.0, Isonic 90, Venom 30 and Ca 50 with a slingshot 21.

great day at green with a few of the mobers including Hoppy Bob and Gaz who took some photos.
Day satrated off with broken uni but got better as the day went on.
Kel and Dr. Cam had some great speeds first up both getting over 40 knots.

NM was over the Green Island reef flats -was pretty chopped up so pretty happy

4561 days ago 1 categories  Green Island, QLD, AU Went to Green Island to play with the big kids, It would of been one of the windest sail i have had. was getting frustrated missing to many gybes in the morning did a few alterations at lunch time and sailed much better in the afternoon session..Got totaly thrashed by every one in the speed department,But was happy to have a good sail in 25 plus kts'.'I'LL BE BACK'..Ed.
