Yeehaaaar! Finally a 40 and i didnt have to put on a wetty to get it! After last year i thought that a trip to sandy or a weedy lake would be needed to get over the line.Cool

And very happy with the alpha as it was really messy in the chop trying to go square to line up the flat jibing spot.

Had heeps of fun sailing with the other mobbers and tring to pip Cam in the speed stakes!

Used 2012 Overdrive 6.0, Isonic 90, Venom 30 and Ca 50 with a slingshot 21.Smile

Green Island, QLD, AU

great day at green with a few of the mobers including Hoppy Bob and Gaz who took some photos.

Day satrated off with broken uni but got better as the day went on.

Kel and Dr. Cam had some great speeds first up both getting over 40 knots.

Thank you very much Toody for the uni.

SL55 and Hoppy Bobs 6.0 Aerotech Rapid Fire (thank you Bob ....LEGEND)

Wow - Incredible session guys.

Kel, what a PB to get at GI.  40 knots yeehaa.  Alpha and 5x10 too.  Massive session and one you won't forget in a long time.

Cam, Bragging rights for the day (and probably the year).  What a Nm - 30+kn on the eastern run.  I'll count that as an open ocean 30 too.  Shame the other bastards didn't back it up Wink

Well done to everyone else too especially Peter and Freddy on their PB's.  Wish I was there to share the stoke.

Congrates on the Pbs guys. Well done on the plus 40 knots PB Kel. Just out of interest did you do that on the 90 or your speed board. We were holidaying in Cairns this time last year, got a sneek peek on GI. Only a couple of kiters out that day.

Well done Fred, Ed and Peter! Nice to see the Green machine providing more PBs!

Used the CA 50 for the peak speeds Steve. It was too shallow to use the 90 with a 34 when the water was real flat. Used the 90 when it started to chop up a bit and managed a couple of 38knt runs and the best alpha.Tongue out

There is nice gear on the island to hire now Steve, so next time your up you wont miss out on a sail!

That's the face of fear after the huge crash I had on the previous run,Surprised Toody. I had pins and needles running down my right arm after twisting my neck in a slamming catapult.

Bob, it's the fin that compensates for the rest of the old junk including me, every muscle in my body is screaming today.Wink
