It has been 2 weeks since my last post, this is a PB for the year I think......

Quite chuffed although I can hardly move again now, my second best nmi included a gybe and was 27.5!!!  Also have my best min speed through a gybe of 14knots now!

Third outing on the Futura 131..this time with a 6.5m. Probably would have sailed faster on a smaller board but wanted to test the board out with a smaller sail.  Certainly a nice summer cruising board!   All in Weymouth Bay...apart from a drop into Portland Harbour along the wall.

Still got it Lea..nice mile run.   Rest has done you good!!

Pete..30+knt over a mile...I'll keep dreaming!   Had a 3 mile reach in the Bay at 20knt+,  Chocco held in well...impressed!

Thanks Pete, and thanks to you others who checked I was okay when I wasnt on the water. It was so strange yesterday watching the flame on TV at the academy......I kept expecting to see myself on the water in the distance

Amazing results Scotty, the alpha and mile are difficult, some speed sailors still cannot get an alpha after a lot of trying!
