Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU. Primbee, WNW gusts up to 30 knots maybe.

The wind was powering through when I rigged up but slowly backed off over  the 2 hours I was on the water, finally walking back to base at the end of the session. Of course it turned back on after I derigged. The wind direction made it great for nautical mile work, however.

The session was particularly good for dialling into the MU Delta fin on the JP - I'm finding that it likes to have pretty constant pressure on it. Unloading then reloading the fin sometimes causes it to spin out.

Fun sailing with Rick, Terry, Mark, and Isaac from the Pit Crew. John was flying late in the day when I was off the water.

JP 49, SV R3 5.6, MU Delta Slalom 17.6

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU

Got to the lake at 4pm in time to see everyone heading in Frown and no wind; but determined to go out regardless I rigged up the 6.0 V8 to be ready and put it on the wally. Just about to launch and the wind come's back in! So put on the 'fridge door' board and had a decent but short sail. Extremely gusty, 0-25 kts. Very nice sunset.

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU   Wind and Rain and Fire, the A/holes are at it, starting fires around the lake and its not even summer.

Went back home to get my Tabou 85l, rigged up with 4.7 Loft wave, then the wind died back.

Last one in so changed to Naish supercross 96l, Loft 5.9 freeride.
