7.8 RS:S, HMAS Falcon 113, 40 Meanline pointer fin
Nice day on Queens with Phil, Captain Mark, Steve, Nicole, Dave and a fella I didnt get to meet. Wind very gusty and came swinging in from WSW all the way through to S. Strength was from glassy up to about 15kn I guess
Tried the 40cm Meanline pointer today, plenty of weed everywhere and I caught my fair share of it, but soldiered on with the pointer as it felt so fast and goes upwind so well compared to my weedy. Very comfy on the 7.8 when the gusts were in, but never fully lit. Saw Captain Mark and Steve get an awesome gust when they were at the southern end of the lake and they got a smoking run all the way over to the mudbank. Well done guys, I expect you will have some good gps figures with that run - looked fast!!!!!!
Plenty of black swans too, and so close to the launch spot. Sun was out all day and that made it so much better
Happy fathers day to all the fathers for tomorrow.
Will not be sailing for a few weeks as I am off to Samoa. May the wind be with you all

4464 days ago Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. Sailing club, 6m sail and Fanatic 102. Very gusty wind and very cold morning session, but better in the afternoon. 12 windsurfers out over the day so a fun session with heaps of friends. The weed banks were flat once the wind had a bit more south in it. Sunny and windy - who could ask for more!!

Sailed with Steve, Adam, Phil, Nicole, Dave. Tried sailing on the West side of the Lake. Lot's of nice flat water.
Sail was to small & board for the day. Should have used a 7.5m & 121 board. Was sinking in the lulls. Very Under Powered!
Had a great day sailing in the sun with everbody!!!!!!!
I-Sonic 101, 6.7m VMG, 31 JP weed.
Adam it was a good run but not that fast! I had a spin out on the run stuffed up my Nautical mile.

110 Ray, 6.7 NP Fusion, then 5.5 NP Fusion
Fascinating day. First session with this board. Started with 6.7 Fusion. Foot strap dramas. Went in. Tried to switch straps. Threw tantrum. Captain Mark saved my day and near froze himself solid in the process. Wind looked like it shifted south and had set in. Rigged down from 6.7 to 5.5. Wind shifted back to gusty SW. Back out. 2 knots faster underpowered on 5.5 than powered up with 6.7 - unbelievable. All my powered posts on here so far have been with 6.7. There is something seriously wrong with the way I have been rigging that sail. So much to learn...
Thank you SO SO SO MUCH for your help Mark!! So sorry I made you so cold to go back out! HAPPY SPRING MARAUDERS!
