Port Macquarie, NSW, AU

Got down there late. Whilst rigging saw Mark J and Greg get a cracker of a run down the mudbank - you guys were smoking.........wind was rapidly dropping and by the time I got on the water the wind was comfy sometimes on a 7.8, and other times way underpowered. Greg got out as I was getting in.....Sailed with Mark J and Dave. Used 7.8 RSS, 113 Falcon and 40cm Meanline

Holey crap I take my hat off to the guys that sail the Hastings regularly. Guys like Mark Jordan make it look so easy - so fit, smooth and efficient. I was stuffed within 20 mins with all the gybing and short runs with the cammed sail.....in this 20 mins I used more energy than I seriously would in 1hour of wavesailing or 3-4hours sailing long runs at Queens (like last Saturday) - just because of the constant time out of the harness and heaps of gybing. RESPECT goes to you guys

Nothing felt right today - the sail was rigged all wrong and I tried to sail with the rig further fwd on the board. There was some mega chop too - some fun little jumps. Tried more downhaul, let off some down haul - dunno - was sailing like a complete kook as it felt like I was hanging onto a lead balloon, maybe it was cos I was so tired so quick.....dunno, ....... regardless I will get some rigging lessons soon

All in all though, great to get out - beats working in the arvo............ my last sail before Samoa on Friday..........dont use up all the wind when i am away - save me a little

Booti Booti Point, NSW, AU. Nice late afternoon bash with Matt, Rob, Peter, Chris, Aza, Bill and Anton.

Happy Birthday Anton, and welcome to the team!  A big thanks to Ella and Bill for putting on a few beers and a nice feed after a top days sailing.Best way to celebrate a birthday and end the day. Thanks!!

Falcon SL104, Select SO7 32 and Gaastra 6.5GTX, then SL79, Vector weedspeed 27 and 6.5 GTX. Had some nice runs on the 104, with the wind NNE gusting 15 -20k, then picking up and gusting 15-25, but veering Northerly and getting holey inside. Not too much weed this time, but enough to spin you out every now and then. Just managed a few runs on the SL79 combo before it went ordinary. All in all a good couple of hours on the water. The vector felt nice and slippery, and held well. Was keen to give it another try after the last episode on the 6.0 a while back, when it let go big time over the chop.

Today was high tide going out, and a bit choppy, but a few nice patches of smooth in places.Good to see a team effort today for the middle of the week.

Happy Birthday Anton

6.5 GTX, falcon 101, 35cm BP type s.  Very light around 12 noon considered using 8.0 but quickly built to around 20kts.  After a couple of hours the 35cm fin was starting to get too big and went down to a 29cm weed speed fin and the holes started to appear in the wind.

Thanks Bill and Ela for the BBQ and beers, very tasty after good day sailing.

For once work and wind aligned.  Amazing afternoon and water all to myself.  Started on 110 Ray with 5.5 NP Fusion but quickly shifted to 92 FSW.  Used thruster - prob not quick but SO LOVELY.  Must get fast fin.  Oh my goodness I am so in love with that board.

Everyones' report sounds way better way than my crappy outing. Only a miserble 4-12 knots at Queens, couldn't get on the plan with my 5.7, so gave up after a few hours and drove home via Port to get some shots of you guys, but you were toooooo00 far down river for any decent pics. Was some nice little waves and decent wind at MRock on the way home. And a solid 18-24 knots on the river here at SWR's. Excellent.Cry

Warning, pic at MR contain images of kiters...

40kn at Whiting Beach! Maybe I should be spending more time there this holiday rather than going to SP!!!!! That spot looks sensational. Have seen guys sailing it but always sailed pippi Beach as I didnt have the go fast gear then - now i have, so now i will. Looking fwd to it! You have Geed me up MJ.

well done Salty One. You have scratched that itch! Nice speed on a Thruster FSW!!!!!!

Gabe you are on fire - AGAIN! Well done too Mark J you set some good speed on those short runs - looked so fast on your new gear

We shoulda done M.Rock Phil - not often do we get a Northerly at that strength with nice little waves and only a few guys out - the humanity!

Congrats everyone - great team effort today - many marauders out on the water all over the MNC!

Nice swag of PB's Salty!Great effort.Congratulations!!More to come.

Mark J nice speed there!  I've only been on the 79 a handful of times and slowly getting used to it. It's a quick little board that will do well with a steadier, stronger wind.Still playing with the new Vector fins on the board too.I hate sailing this small a board in gusty winds.

I'm tied up till after 3.00pm Sat. Bummer! But will get down for a late one.Forecast looks promising too.

Aza and Pete missed out on their posts owing to GPS owner failure! Next time for sure.

Hey Adam, we're stiill keen for SP, and Peter is too. Aza wants to go, but will need a lift. We're trying for the end of Oct, last week and early Nov. first week.let us know your thoughts. I re-sent that email, but must have the wrong address.Send me your email again as a text please to discuss. Cheers.
