Tricky Bogan (21799km): Rigged Retro & reaped the reward, for most of the sail! Stansbury 5 - 12 knts The wind was building so rigged the 6.6 & the CA101 no guts no glory, hit the water & it dropped so ducked back in & changed board to the CA 120 80w, Still dropped dam blast bugger I haven't sail for what seem like forever & was in for a fitness session so back in & rigged the 1990 era 7.5 Sailworks Race sail. On the big board I was up & planning having a great sail, but wow does the shape & center of effort shift around something fierce. I would just get the harness lines right & the wind would pickup or drop a couple of knots & it was all up s*%t creek. Did I get a fitness work out fighting with the sail. After 2.5 hours I was stuffed & headed in that a quick squall blew in that over powered the old race sail & brought back the vivid memories of pushing with the front hand pulling with the back & wondering how long before I was going to get slammed,,, wasn't long and wamO, the old 7.5 can't handle 15 knots on a short board. Great sail! it was pleasant not freezing my feet off.

PJ (24612km): 22-09-12 Boggy Lake-NNE 12-30 knots-Mistal SL 68 wide-Avanti 8.5m and Loft Blade 5.6m-Lessacher Duo Weed 32cm I enjoyed the 8.5m for an hour till blown out, tried 5.6m Blade but not comfortable. Top day, sunny, windy, sailors :-)
Sammy (43182km): Great warm spring sail
Jimbob (26496km): What the HELL was I thinking.... was awake early so had breaky at 5 and thougth what the hell I will do something different today and drove the 3 hours to Boggy Lake and sail with the team, arrived at 8.30 to find Carl and Sam on the port as usual and pj already out going for his usual k's. rigged the 5.8 and done 2 runs and changed to the 5.0 straight away but was wishing I had packed my small wave sails and jp freestyle wave as it was big chop bump and jump, wind then was all over and up and down so glad I was on the stoke for when it dropped, had the sxs in the car but didn't fancy going out in the chop, anyway the wind ended up swinging to offshore and slowly fading till I wasn't planing all the time so back on the 5.8 while Carl and Sam where sun backing and sooking about how gusty it was , was good to sail with the crew Carl, sam, pj, chris D, trousers, wippet and poor Kimba came at the end and got skunked plus a few others I didn't know. the spit on lake george at home would have been sweet as but then again I would have been on my own again. didn't even try for numbers in the conditions but hats off to the other boys doing mid 35's in that crap. might even go back for the slalom races later in summer or for the demo day.. used F2 stoke 117 with KA Koncepts 5.8 and 5.0 with a 24 select weedy 90 % time then a 30 weedy at the end. didn't bother doing longer runs as evey time I went futher the chop didn't get any better so just practicing gybing in the slop. Might even try a different lake down here tommorrow.

Kimba (8089km): Nice warm northerly with a good turnout of sailors. Missed the stronger winds of the morning but had a nice sail anyway. Would have had a decent hour but the wind dropped out at the 45 minute mark. Boggy Lake, 12-20, EvoIV 7.8 - Facon 113 - S11 39
