Put on the smaller weedy to get over the sand bank at low tide (still only just) but unfortunately it wasn't very good for staying upwind. After a few river crossings getting further and further downwind despite my best efforts I decided to make lemonade from lemons and go for a downwind hour. I thought as long as I end up on the southside of the river I can get home. Scored 2 PB's - one for 1 hr sailing, and one for longest walk back upwind (Heathcote to Melville carpark). A lovely afternoon for a walk beside the river.

4458 days ago Sweet little cruise on the new 7.0 at Peli with Pointman and Troutty. Wind was nice and the sun was out, beautiful conditions for some long runs Needed that.

Nice steady 15 to 18 knots, too shallow on the flat side but still fun sailing out in the chop.
Sailed the last hour including the NM with a 30 cm tear in the middle of the second panel in the monofilm, amazingly the tear didn't spread to the edges. Must be almost no tension through the panel centre.

Great afternoon sail. My GPS froze which I think cost me a PB on distance today.
Used the 36cm fin in anticipation of the breeze increasing - I was half raight. Half the time it was increasing - the other half decreasing. Breeze died out by around 5pm. Warm, sunny sailing conditions. Can't complain about that...

4458 days ago WW from MP so took Bubba as I wasn't convinced the wind would hold in.
Usual gusty stuff with a few reasonable puffs towards sunset.
Happy with the alpha on the big boy.

Good to see Snakey got out on his new Formula gear. Just wait till the other new toy gets wet!
Well done, Windxtasy on another PB. Those gybes must be coming along.

4458 days ago Awesomely fun sesh at Peli in a pretty consistent 17-20K seabreeze.
I was loving the set-up today....135 Patrik + 8.4 TR8 + 46 Sting. It was perfect for the conditions
Tacked up to Majestic hunting gusts for a naughty, but got my best run on starboard bearing away toward the freeway.
Good to see the Snake out christening his new 7.0.
A taste of summer.

4458 days ago Beautiful day to be on the water. Started out well but afer half an hour the wind turned more south and became gusty. I was going for a 1hr speed with long consistent runs across the river but the wind didn't hold out long enough.
