In order of events. Lost leos gopro, had a MASSIVE stack whilst cursing at the world because i lost leos gopro, got bad whip lash.
Leo, johny, old pete and Mick Kay were smoking. Great spot, not bad for a first time. Loving the alpha.

I took the day off work just to go sailing today and the Bay delivered BIG TIME! I was on the water around midday and had some lovely cruisy runs for a couple of hours while the wind built. By the time I came in and changed down to the 5.8 I was already overdone and had to come back in and switch to the 5.0 and out for more punishment!
I think I found the upper wind limit of the iS90. I really should have been on the JP 84 with a 26cm fin, but I only wanted ro ride the new board and only took one board down today. Oh well, the new board novelty will wear off soon...
I had one of those big jelly fish wrap around my lehs today - I can still feel it!

I REALLY wussed out big time today. It's not often you say it was too windy but for me today it was. I had my 4.9 flat as a pancake and it was still too much. I was ok heading out to the runway but after I gybed coming back in was horrendous. I was bouncing all over the place, unable and basically too scared to hook in so consequently I got massive forearm pump and after 6 runs that was my day done. My arms are still sore as now after being off the water for 3 hours.
Massive props to Michael for your effort. Being the same weight as me and using the same sail he was killing it. I even weighed myself when I got home just to check I hadn't lost weight in the last few weeks Alas, it is just my lack of gonads, no excuses.
Next time the forecast is like this I better pack some weight.

Strewth, what a smacking day. Job interview & straight down the pond. Looked good so straight out by myself with 7.8. Was fine for about an hour then wooshka, hold onto your hats kiddies, Was having fun getting some runs, nice flattish water for gybe practise then smashing back upwind. Then I realised I was having trouble hanging on. jaysus, no wonder i was getting smashed. Wind just kept increasing to one of the strongest nor-easters Ive ever seen at Lake Dangerous!! Got back in (just) and changed down to 7.0 (all I had), no friggin' point. Just too windy and some of the biggest chop ever.
Spencer thought he was out in the middle of Bass straight, he was going strong. Knew it was strong when Chris C rocked up and rigged a 5.5!!!!!!! Pulled the pin and headed home for beer. Knee is sore, Im buggered after 7 days sailing out of 10 and feeling lucky after picking the best 2 weeks to be unemployed.
JP 68, Evo III 7.8, Talon 40 then 7.0 Evo IV.
Kudos to everyone at Botany and must try Peel St. Thanks for nothing Wysey!!!
