Goose Pt, Lake Ellesmere.NE 15-25kts

Not a whole lot of wind but very steady and perfect direction.

Hit a submereged Mai Mai and knackered the fin box and back end of the old Styro.

Was going to pack it in but went back up for another go on the 54 Slalom and that was much better.

Used C3 Venom 26 this time since I needed a bit of G10 for Mai Mai hits.

5.8 was ok but never real powered up.

This place will be great in some decent wind.

Almost matched my mile PB even in this light wind.

Hey Dan,

what struck me while we were doing the mile run is that we start too low on our usual runs.

I think we need to be way up past that big post and go across and do the bear offs way  up there.

Also that Mai Mai won't be a problem if we start further upwind.

As we came down the pressure was real good there up above the opening.

Reckon we need to start about that  point just to the right of the sand bar on your map above
