Fun day out at LG.
Started off today on sail tuning. After it behaving like a pig yesterday big changes were needed. Changed all the cams (thanks for the loaners Jimbob) and added spacers. It looked like it should - good start.
Started the day cruising around and then decided to go follow Jacques through on a 1hr. Was comfy as and was very happy cruising around behind him. The arm strap on my GPS case started getting a bit loose - didnt think anything of it, then at about 45mins I threw the sail around on a gybe and it went flying off my arm . Needless to say i dived off my board mid gybe to find it... which i did thankfully. Couldnt be bothered trying for another one.... now having seen Hollywoods result i'm spewing!! I was on track for a 27-28 hr!! well that means i'll just have to come back
Just played around for the rest of the day. Did 2 NM runs with Daz, then went for some speed runs. Wanted a 40ave - but just missed it. Was getting pretty tired so packed up and jumped in the car for the drive home. Currently in Hamilton with 440km to go until home.
