Dorans IS101 R3 6.2. Wind was up and down. Came up after about an hour on the water. Got plenty of good runs in. Probably could have got a couple more knots on the IS86slim but stuck with the IS101 so I didn't sink between gusts.

Went exploring at Moultng Lagoon put in at the Devils Corner winery side drove through farmers paddocks for ages the found a fairly close place to get in. First 50m all soft mud and heaps of weed hard work to get started. Got going but without a weed fin kept having to stop all the time to clear away. Out in the middle there were areas of floating weed all joined together about 100m long

Lots of potential here the surface was dead flat just need the right gear.

Russ you would be proud I took out an old 1997 retro Mistral XLE 268 93l with 2013 KA 6.6 and as much as I hate to admit the board felt great

Good blast at Dorans, really love my new OD, felt fast and always in control when it really blew.

Funny day wind wise. All indications were from around 8am it was going to be 20-30 knots. Got down there at 8am and not much wind when I arrived. Rigged the 6.2 R4 on the Isonic 90 with C3 34-2cm Venom, wind picked up to around 20 knots. Had about 3 or 4 runs which I did my peak speed then the wind dropped right off. Then rigged the 7.8 R4 on the 117 with new 46cm Venom, fin felt a bit big when powered up, should be perfect for the 8.6. Wind came in honking changed to the 107 and 42cm venom with 7.8. First time out with 42cm as well, fin felt awesome. Just way too windy for that gear, shouldn't have unrigged the 6.2. Anyway great fun and really good trying out different gear, fins etc. Heaps of people out and having a blast.

Just added mine and Wills score, so close. Steve 129.24 and Will 128.77. Unless the wind dies I think Buzzy is looking good. Or is Jez going to pull it out of the bag.
